¨La Finca Caballero¨ takes its name from an old settlement known as the “Casas de Caballero”, a district belonging to Requena. The property, which has 1,724 hectares, is located in the very center of the Hoces del Cabriel Natural Park, 104 km from Valencia. This privileged location makes it possible to have a unique microclimate and a natural area of fauna and flora thanks to the influence of the Mediterranean. The plot of the farm is fenced with a 2-meter-high hunting fence, which protects the fauna of the area. In addition, a 10 km road crosses the property, of which 5 km are perfectly paved and give access to the built-up part of the estate, and the rest is clay.

Through the paved road, we find a group of 3 houses. One of them, the main one measuring 250 sqm spread over two floors, has a garden, swimming pool, ¨paellero¨ and other facilities. Next to the main house there are two houses renovated for the service, two more buildings for the shelter of the animals, a splendid dovecote and several warehouses for storage. The property has a 25-year concession (renewable) from the Júcar Hydrographic Confederation for the extraction of water, either directly from the Cabriel River or from the Albosa lagoon that crosses the farm.

The Albosa lagoon, of 4 ha. with permanent water all year round, has a jetty and possibility for fishing and hunting of waterfowl. The farm also has a duly legalized hunting reserve, with an approved and current Technical Hunting Plan. It has an 80-hectare acclimatization fence for the introduction of big game and 4 fenced control plots, as well as 4 built-in booths and a wooden turret.
